Windsurf - Professional

Our Windsurf - Professional activity, held at Fethiye's wind-renowned Çalış Beach, offers a comprehensive training program for both beginners and advanced surfers. With professional instructors, we support you every step of the way, from theoretical knowledge to practical application. This activity is based on individual lessons and conducted in groups of up to 100 people, with each session lasting approximately 1 hour.

Training Program

Our program consists of three main stages: Theory, Simulator, and On-Water Surf Training. All stages are designed to provide you with a safe and enjoyable learning experience.

Basic Surf Courses (3 Lessons)

A – Theory

In the approximately 1-hour theoretical training on the beach, the following topics are covered:

• Wind knowledge
• Equipment knowledge
• Safety rules
• Environmental awareness

B – Simulator Training

On a simulator created by attaching a real sail to a board on the beach, all necessary basic information for land and sea is demonstrated:

• How to get on the board
• How and where to stand on the board
• How to lift the sail from the water
• Starting position and filling the sail with wind
• Steering techniques
• Tacking (turning upwind)

C – On-Water Surf Training

This is the practical application of theory and simulator training in the sea. Theoretical and simulator lessons are held daily at 6:00 PM for about 1 hour, followed by practical surf training the next morning between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM. Students who complete the first basic course can rent training equipment.

VDWS International Basic Windsurfing License Course

Our school is a member of the VDWS (German Surf and Watersports Federation). Our instructors are authorized to issue the VDWS basic windsurfing license. Students must successfully pass theory and practical exams after 10 hours of lessons. The exam covers topics such as equipment and wind knowledge, turns, right-of-way rules, rigging, and carrying the sail.

• Waterstart: Theory, simulator, and in-water practice
• Gybing and Tacking: Theory, simulator, and in-water practice
